The Bailiwick of Guernsey is a group of islands in the English Channel, part of the Channel Islands. Guernsey is the main island, some 50 miles west of the Cotentin Peninsula in France. It's about 6 miles long by 3 miles wide, with St Peter Port as its chief settlement, and in 2019 had a population of almost 63,000.
